Be A Good Bacchus Marsh Samaritan

Most people like to help share the joy during the festive season by donating to charities and groups in the area, and one charity that is urging local residents to help them out is a group called Samaritan Purse.
Samaritan Purse is currently asking Bacchus Marsh residents to help them fill shoe boxes full of toys, clothing and other gifts so that they can be sent to impoverished children in Vietnam, China, Cambodia and the South Sea islands as part of Operation Christmas Child.
Over the past few years Operation Christmas Child has helped bring smiles to more than 2000 children’s faces. Most of the children who receive the gifts aren’t used to being given gifts and so you can imagine their excitement when they receive gifts through the kind donations of others.
If you would like to help bring smiles to more children’s faces this year, then you can leave gifts at a stall at the Bacchus Marsh shopping village on October 21. You can also leave gifts atMelton Baptist Church between 10am and 2pm. If you would like any more details about Operation Christmas Child then you can contact 53671210 or 0450456842.
