Bacchus Marsh Cyclists Rasing Money

Community support is growing for the Bacchus Marsh Cycling Group that is riding 250km to help raise funds for local Bacchus Marsh and Melton mental health programs.

The 250km journey will take the cyclists on a return route from Bacchus Marsh to Queenscliff. If you see the group of 20 cyclists on Saturday 30th of April, be sure to take a moment to acknowledge them, and of course drive with caution.
The unfortunate circumstances surrounding the cycling group’s reason for raising funds can be read about in an article here, however it is great to see the community rallying behind such a worthy cause.
So far the group have raised in the vicinity of $15,000 and have a target to raise an additional $7,000, so if you are able to donate and help the cause to raise money for Djerriwarrh Health Services, you can donate in person at Nigel’s ShoeX store in Main St, Bacchus Marsh during business hours, or post a cheque or money order payable to Djerriwarrh Health Services to Mary Clancy, 22 Moore St, Maddingley. Donations of $2 or more are tax deductable.
