Who would have thought that the wet weather could actually help make Christmas a little more cheerful?
I just read an article in the Melton Leader, saying that the extra rain we have been getting this year has helped make for taller, fatter and greener Christmas trees.
At the Melton Christmas Tree Farm (which isn’t too far a drive from Bacchus Marsh) apparently the Christmas trees are ranging in height from 4ft all the way up to a giant 13ft tall!
Real Christmas trees aren’t for everybody, but I’ve seen some beautifully decorated ones in the homes of Bacchus Marsh residents, and they definitely can help add to the Christmas spirit. Picking out a Christmas tree is also a fun activity that the whole family can get involved in.
You’ll find some of the best Christmas trees in Melbourne at the Melton Christmas Tree Farm. They just opened this week so there is still some time to go pick one up if you want your tree up on December 1.
