Bacchus Marsh’s local Moorabool Council last week announced plans to build a new $800 million residential community in the area.
There is expected to be about 1700 new homes for Bacchus Marsh and roughly 5000 new residents to call the town home.
The estate will cover 141ha of land at West Maddingly situated between the Bacchus Marsh golf course and the Werribee River.
Apart from housing the new Bacchus Marsh community there are also plans for building more community facilities and possibly a new primary school in the area too.
So far only the preliminary plans for the development have been presented to the Moorabool Council, and a development plan is expected to be open to the public soon too.
There is likely to be mixed public opinions about the impact of the new Bacchus Marsh development, but what do you think? Are you looking forward to the new development?
