Bacchus Marsh is a rich and fertile valley that consists of orchards, market gardens and pastoral fields. I often talk about what a great place Bacchus Marsh is, so why not come and visit us. If you happen to be here as part of the annual Strawberries and Cherries Weekend scheduled for later in the year, you’ll certainly experience a couple of days of fun, activities and great local produce.
It’s great to see such a thriving event be a success. People come from all over to support it, so I invite you to do the same. The committee that organises the weekend is made up of hard-working and dedicated locals that put a great deal of effort in to its success.
“Enjoy the spectacular Avenue of Honour as it winds through the ever-changing market gardens, orchards, and fruit stalls. The fields surrounding Bacchus Marsh are full of fruit and vegetables. Everything from apples, stone fruits, an abundance of berries and just about any vegetable you could desire, even a wide variety of Asian herbs.”
