ANZAC Day is a great day around the country to see the pride on war veteran’s faces and to commemorate all of those who have served our country.
In Bacchus Marsh we certainly take the tradition of ANZAC Day seriously. There will be a march on Sunday which will be starting from the Bacchus Marsh Hospital car park in Grant Street at 3pm after which there will be a service and wreath laying ceremony at the RSL hall in Main Street, Bacchus Marsh.
I came across this article the other day mentioning one of our local heroes, Keith Westley, who will definitely be found at the ANZAC Day services this Sunday, having served in the army for 45 years, which is an amazing life achievement.
I’ll be paying my respects to the ANZACs this Sunday, will you?
