This year’s event is expected to be one the of the biggest ones yet, packed full of all of the things that we love about the festival, including fruit picking, locally grown produce, Strawberry and Cherry themed menus, horse and carriage rides, a cherry pip spitting competition, heritage arts and crafts and much more.
Locals and visitors alike will also be able to enjoy some 80 market stalls featuring, gifts, novelties and food in the Main Street of the Bacchus Marsh central shopping area.
The famous trail will also be taking over the town again this year and if you get more than 35 stamps on your passport (on the back of the official brochure) from participating stops, you can go in the draw for 1 of 3 great Bacchus Marsh prize packages.
All of the action will run from 10am to 4pm on both days of the festival, but if you stick around on Saturday evening you can enjoy a family night family night at Maddingley Park that will include music, various food stalls, a jumping castle and adventure activities provided by the Local Scouts.
A lights and laser show will light up the evening from 5:00 pm with fantastic fireworks at 9:15 pm.
Here’s hoping that the weather is perfect for what is set to be a wonderful weekend in Bacchus Marsh.
