The booklet contains information and details about local services designed to assist in raising and caring for families as sometimes parents and carers don’t know to whom or where they should turn when they need help.
Moorabool mayor Paul Tatchell said the booklet was aimed at making access to services, especially local services, easier for families.
There is also information for parents and carers about things like “choosing a child care centre” and “how to build a child-friendly street”.
In the Land of Moorabool was published by the state government-funded Best Start Program, and there is plenty of great information in there that is well worth reading for any family living in Bacchus Marsh.
You can find the booklet in local schools, kindergartens, maternal child health centres, community houses, hospitals, shopping centres, libraries and Moorabool council, or you can download it from the Moorabool council website.
