The theme for this year’s festival is ‘Our Culture, Our Art’ so you can expect to see lots of fantastic local art.
There will be an art show on display in Ballan tomorrow and Sunday from 10am – 4pm as part of the festival.
There will of course also be much more to enjoy. The main street of Ballan will be closed on Sunday to make way for street stalls and music and a street parade.
The parade will start at 11am and will be followed by a pet show and wood chop at1 2pm.
Other features of the festival will include an antique and vintage fair, displays, a Japanese quilt exhibition, miniature dollhouses, kids activities and much more.
The Ballan Autumn Festival is a much-loved community event that is now in its 40th year. It started as a small festival with just a few visitors and is now an event that is attended by thousands, and many attribute the festival to having put the town of Ballan on the map.
The festival will be well worth a visit this weekend whether you’re a local or visitor to the region.
