What can you do to help keep Bacchus Marsh beautiful?

Spring-FlowerKeep Australia Beautiful Week is an initiative that aims to put the spotlight on what people around the country are doing to help look after our environment.

So what are you doing in our local area to help keep it clean and healthy?

In general there are a lot of people in Bacchus Marsh who put in a great deal of effort to look after our local community and keep it beautiful for generations to come, but we can all do more.

Statistics shows that Australia is one of the highest producers of waste in the world per capita, with every Australian throwing away over one tonne of waste each year!

With such a focus on environmental sustainability in Australia we really should all be making a better effort to reduce our waste where we can.

We should also know better than to litter. Apparently about 48 million litres of rubbish is littered each year and this rubbish can end up polluting our waterways and harming natural habitats for years and years to come.

At Professionals Arbee Real Estate we believe that Bacchus Marsh is one of the most beautiful regions in the world, but to keep it that way it is up to each and every individual to start paying a bit more attention to how we deal with waste and to try to dispose of things in the right way, whether it be by recycling, composting, repurposing or simply putting our rubbish in the bin.
