Help fight animal cruelty with cupcakes!

Did you know that you could use your baking skills to help stop animal cruelty?

That’s because on Monday 18 August the RSPCA’s Cupcake Day will be taking place and it is encouraging Bacchus Marsh residents to bake and eat cupcakes and other sweet treats to help raise funds for all creatures great and small.

To get involved, all you need to do is register with, start baking (or if you can’t bake you can always buy from someone who can), and then bring your cupcakes to work, school, or an arranged event and then ask for a donation for the RSPCA in return.

Funds that are raised through Cupcake Day are used to help the 56,000 animals that the RSPCA rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes every year.

Whether you plan on baking up your own cupcakes, or enjoying ones that someone else has made, Cupcake Day is a great way to help raise some serious funds for a very worthy cause.
