We hope that everyone in Bacchus Marsh has marked their calendar for next Thursday’s (September 4) Moorabool Literacy Trail.
A long running tradition in Bacchus Marsh, the Literacy Trail brings families out for lots of fun and games as a way to promote reading, writing and counting to primary and preschool aged children.
The event is held in the main street of Bacchus Marsh where there will be performers and entertainers telling stories to children and passer-by.
The Literacy Trail brings together local business, emergency services, health and welfare organisations, community groups and local governments, as well as schools, kindergartens, childcare centres and playgroups, and so it is definitely an event that everyone in the community should get behind and support.
So get the kids together next Thursday and discover the many joys of literacy by taking a walk along the Bacchus Marsh Literacy Trail.
