Bacchus Marsh Residents Reminded to Make the NBN Switch

Bacchus marsh nbnIt’s not long now until the current copper services in Bacchus Marsh are switched off and replaced by the National Broadband Network (NBN).

Many Bacchus Marsh residents are already enjoying the new high-speed network, but if you haven’t made the switch yet then you only have until October 5 this year to make the change.

After October 5, copper services will be cut off for parts of Bacchus Marsh, so its important that local residents ensure that they have been switched over to the new network by then.

Anybody with a landline phone, internet service or medical alarm needs to contact their communications provider, as the switch is not automatic.

If you’re unsure about what to do to, head to http://nbnco.com.au/switch where you can find all information about changing over to the NBN.

If you use a medical alarm in your home you are also urged to register your alarm and find out more at www.nbnco.com.au/medicalregister.
