To help resolve the traffics issues in the area, the Moorabool Council and VicRoads will be undertaking a transport study for the Bacchus Marsh township.
The project will help identify the transport needs of Bacchus Marsh, which will then be used to help make recommendations on what can be done to help relieve traffic congestion and improve local road networks.
Local community feedback is being sought as part of the project. Workshops will be held next week at the Lerderberg Library to give an opportunity for locals to have their say on road issues and to provide the kind of transport knowledge that only a local would know.
For those interested in heading to one of the workshops, they will be held on Monday 23rd June and Wednesday 25th June from 6.15pm – 8.30pm. You must pre-register to attend by contacting Customer Service on 5366 7100.
The information from the sessions will be used for a draft report, which will be placed on public exhibition when complete, allowing the community a further opportunity to have their say.
