Moorabool Shire Council Key Priority ProjectsIn the lead up to the state election, the Moorabool Shire Council has released a an advocacy document that lists the main priorities for the Moorabool region.

The report, titled Moorabool Shire Council Key Priority Projects, lists seven key areas that are vital to the future development of the region.

According to the report, the top priorities for Moorabool are as follows:

  • Western Bypass of Bacchus Marsh – Halletts Way
  • Eastern Transport and Freight Bypass of Bacchus Marsh
  • Darley Early Years Hub
  • Parwan Employment Zone
  • Sewerage for Small Towns
  • Moorabool Indoor Aquatic Centre
  • Recreation Reserves for our Growing Communities

In a recent article in the Melton Weekly (found here), it seems that a lot of local residents agree with the key priority areas and hopefully the local area will be able to receive the funding needed to help get all of the projects underway.
