Now in it’s 7th year, the Bacchus Marsh Harvest Festival provides a great way to discover our local region and learn more about our local food producers.
Highlights of the festival include the free bus tours that are offered, where locals and out-of-town visitors get the opportunity meet the growers and visit farms around Bacchus Marsh. Some of this year’s bus stops will include a strawberry farm, apple growers, orchardists, baby lettuce growers, art gallery and market garden plus more.
There will also be classic activities to enjoy at the Harvest Festival such as the Apple Pie competition, Best Backyard and Veggie Patch competition and the annual Grape Stomp.
The Bacchus Marsh Harvest Festival for 2014 will be taking place on Sunday 16 March at various locations throughout Bacchus Marsh.
The Harvest Festival is a great celebration of our region and well worth taking part in. If you want to share in this season’s harvest, you can find more information at www.visitbacchusmarsh.com.au and www.visitmoorabool.com.au.
