If you’ve been finding yourself short of time and wishing that you had a spare pair of hands to get things done, then you might be interested in hiring someone to help you complete your everyday tasks using a new website called Airtasker.
The Airtasker website allows people to recruit others for a variety tasks in return for cash. All sorts of tasks are posted on Airtasker, from asking people to assemble Ikea furniture to asking them to write a love poem for Valentine’s Day.
The Sydney Morning Herald even reported the story of an Airtasker flying to Texas to pick up an engagement ring for a surgeon who didn’t trust a courier to bring the ring back in time for his proposal. In this case the Airtasker earned $1000 for their job, plus all expenses paid to get to Texas from Sydney.
The website has become particularly popular for those who work 9-5 jobs and just don’t have the time to get things done during the day, like picking up things from the shops, or being at a certain place at a certain time.
There are plenty of potential uses for Airtasker, whether you’re looking to outsource some of your everyday tasks or if you’re looking for a new way to earn some extra cash.
If you want to see the types of tasks being assigned in the area, you can head over to www.airtasker.com.
