Considering A New Pet For Christmas?

We’ve all heard the phrase ‘a pet is for life not just for Christmas’, but the unfortunate reality is that many Bacchus Marsh animals find themselves without a home or family to love them at Christmas.  The Moorabool Shire Council attempts to reunite all lost pets with their owners, but those that remain unclaimed are assessed for rehousing.

If you are looking to make a new addition to your family (of the four legged variety), and are ready to give a new pet the love and attention it deserves, the Moorabool Pet Adoption service should be your first port of call.

There are many gorgeous animals looking for families, and you can rest assured that each has been assessed for their suitability for rehousing.  They can be matched to your needs and lifestyle, depending on what you’re looking for.  Fancy a dog that loves walks and is full of energy, a small dog that gives plenty of cuddles and goes to sleep in your lap, a family-friendly dog that will play lovingly with your children, or a terrific watch dog…whatever your needs, there will be a pet to match.

All animals that are assessed as suitable for rehousing are vet checked, desexed, vaccinated and microchipped before they’re able to go home with their new owner, so you can feel safe in the knowledge that your new addition is gong to be ready to join in all the fun of your household.

If you’re looking for a beautiful new family pet to love and care for, you can see available pets advertised in the Moorabool News, on www.petrescue.com.au, and on the Moorabool Pet-Adoption page.

If you haven’t yet considered adopting a pet through the Council Pound service, we encourage you to contact the Council’s Compliance Unit on (03) 5366 7100 for more information.  Our team at Professionals Arbee Real Estate in Bacchus Marsh would love to see all the gorgeous homeless animals either reunited with their families or given to loving families these holidays.
