Musicians in Bacchus Marsh and the surrounding Moorabool region are being encouraged to put their hands up to play at the festival in November, which hopes to help promote local artists.
As anybody who lives in the local area knows, the Strawberries and Cherries Weekend is one of Bacchus Marsh’s biggest events of the year and it is definitely worth being a part of. This year’s event will mark the festival’s seventh year, and in that short time frame it has grown considerably.
The 2012 Strawberries and Cherries Weekend is expected to be a huge weekend, especially with new festival additions such as foodie based competitions, a Bacchus Marsh Best Spring Garden competition and lots of live music. The festival’s popular events will also be returning, such as the strawberries and cherries trail, cherry pip spitting, wine tasting and more.
As well as musical talent, the Strawberries and Cherries Weekend event is also calling out for people who want to become involved with the event as a volunteer or a sponsor.
If you’d like to get involved with the popular Bacchus Marsh event, you can download a copy of the 2012-13 sponsorship prospectus at www.visitbacchusmarsh.com.au or you can email email@example.com.
