The Western Institute of Technology has recently bought the old Bacchus Marsh Post Office from the Moorabool Shire Council and it will be using the building to run Government-subsidised training courses for the local community.
This means that local residents will be able to gain certificate or diploma training in a number of areas including painting, aged care, building, construction, business and more, for minimal or no cost.
The institute will try and offer courses that are suitable for the local community as determined by local demand.
Courses are expected to start at the old Bacchus Marsh Post Office building by the middle of this year.
This is very exciting news for those in Bacchus Marsh who are looking to upgrade their skills, and if you would like to find out more about the courses that will be on offer in Bacchus Marsh then head to wit.edu.au.
