How To Avoid the Heat in Bacchus Marsh

With the heat wave that Bacchus Marsh has been experiencing since the New Year came in, lots of local residents have been looking for the best spots in town to cool down.

Our local shopping centres have been very popular escapes for those who don’t have air-conditioning in their homes, but our local pools and waterways have also proven to be very popular.

There have been reports that the Lerderderg River in Bacchus Marsh has been full of swimmers this past month and the Ballan and Bacchus Marsh pools have also seen marked increases in visitors.

As the outlook for the rest of January looks like it will continue to see warm weather, it is expected that our pools and waterways will continue to be very popular, especially while the kids are off school.

There will even be events held at the pools over summer, which will include live entertainment and barbeques.

For those who want to find out what is happening at our local pools you can visit the Bacchus Marsh Leisure Centre website at bacchusmarshlc.com.au.

The Bacchus Marsh and Ballan Pools will be open until March 11, from 11am to 7pm
