Now that the weather has warmed up I’ve been noticing a lot more people heading outdoors in Bacchus Marsh and enjoying our wonderful spots to go for a walk.
There are plenty of great walking tracks in the area, such as the GDT Township Walk, Peppertree Walk or the Heritage Trail. You can find a list of plenty more walking tracks too, simply by heading to www.visitmoorabool.com.au where you will find maps of popular walking routes for the area.
Another great website to go to for information about walking in Bacchus Marsh is www.bacchustracks.info which also lists popular walks in the area as well as walking groups.
Walking is a great activity to take part in because not only does it provide a great form of exercise but it also provides a great way of getting to know Bacchus Marsh and exploring our beautiful surrounds. Best of all walking is absolutely free!
