Bacchus Marsh and our surrounding regions are known for our delicious, locally grow wine and so there are many events throughout the year that celebrate our local winemakers.
The next big wine event will be held in nearby Sunbury on the last weekend of this month. The Sunbury Wine Festival Weekend will showcase one of Victoria's oldest wine growing regions and all of the lovely wines it produces.
On the first day of the Sunbury Wine Festival Weekend (August 27) there will be tastings at Craiglee, where wine enthusiasts can taste different wines and meet the winemakers.
On the second day of the Festival (August 28) it will be Cellar Door Day and festival-goers will be able to hop on a free shuttle bus that will take them to different wineries in the region where they can enjoy food , wine and entertainment.
The Sunbury Wine Festival Weekend should make for a great weekend out, if you want to know more about it you can visit sunburywines.com.au
