Anyone who lives in Bacchus Marsh will tell you that we’re a town on the move. Our small town is growing and with new development and infrastructure on its way our town is becoming an even better place to live!
But while buying in Bacchus Marsh is a great investment for the future, there are things we can all do to our homes now to make our home or investment property the pick of the crop.
Keep your home up to date – By keeping your home in good condition and updating appliances and paint colours for instance, it will make things a lot easier if you decide to sell in the future. You may also like to take a look at your floor plan and see if you’re getting the most out of the space you have.
Embrace your home’s style – Bacchus Marsh is blessed with a number of architectural styles, all of which can be made into beautiful and attractive homes. So if you are thinking of renovating consider playing up your home’s style and adding to its original unique features.
Don’t Fear the New – While classic and aged home features can look great though, don’t be afraid of blending new and old together. A brand new kitchen in a period home may look out of place, but you’ll be surprised how well some modern fittings will blend-in with older style homes.
Make the Most of Your Investment – If you own a rental home and it’s between tenancies, this could be an excellent time to consider upgrading your appliances and fittings. You may not want to spend the money initially but if you upscale your property will be able to attract quality and long-term tenants and charge more rent.
The above are just some of the things you might consider doing to your home or investment property in Bacchus Marsh. Before you go to do anything though remember to do your research first and beware of over-capitalising.
