The Bacchus Marsh Rotary Club is doing its bit to help Bacchus Marsh get the aquatic centre we all want.
Tomorrow (November 26) the Bacchus Marsh Rotary Club will be holding a golf day at the Bacchus Marsh Golf Club to help add to the $43,000 the club has already raised to help contribute to the aquatic centre.
Last year when a similar event was held, the Bacchus Marsh Rotary Club helped raise $20,000, and this year hopefully that amount can be raised again.
The day will include a sausage sizzle lunch, an afternoon of golf and then it will finish with a presentation dinner, auction and spinning wheel.
The Bacchus Marsh Rotary Club wants people to come along to the golf day just to have some fun, meet new people and of course help raise money for the Bacchus Marsh Aquatic Centre.
It will cost $280 for a team of four golfers to play, or $195 if all players are Bacchus Marsh Golf Club members.
If golf isn’t your thing though you can still attend the dinner and auction for just $25.
For Bacchus Marsh residents who want an indoor swimming pool for our area, this is your chance to help make it happen.
