Bacchus Marsh residents are among the most water-wise residents in Victoria!
Recent water-usage figures from the State Government show that locals in Bacchus Marsh and in Melton use an average of 161 litres of water per person a day, making us the fifth lowest users of water in the state.
However water is still a very precious resource in Bacchus Marsh so we could still be using less if we tried a little harder.
Some ways we can all save water around the home is to take shorter showers, use water saving showerheads and to install grey water systems and water tanks.
What do you do around the home to keep your water usage down?
