Woolworths Hardware Store Locations Announced

Woolworths have just announced the locations of their new mega hardware stores that are set to rival the popular Bunnings Warehouse stores.

Nine store locations have been announced and if all goes to plan they should be ready to open by late 2011.

A spokesman for the store has revealed that the new hardware stores will help cater more to females, as they are often neglected when it comes to home improvement products.

Apparently the stores will help provide a $130 million boost to the Victorian economy and provide 1800 construction jobs and 1300 more jobs once the stores are built.

It all sounds like good news, and for Bacchus Marsh residents wanting to visit one of the new stores once they are built, the closest will be found in the suburb of Burnside.

Here is a list of all of the new hardware stores that will be getting built around Melbourne:

• 1550 Pascoe Vale Road, Coolaroo
• 1041-1049 Centre Road, Oakleigh South
• 65 Mornington-Tyabb Road, Mornington
