Bacchus Marsh’s population is booming, and not just because more people are moving to the area.
In the past year births in Bacchus Marsh have gone up a whopping 22 percent.
According to the Moorabool Leader – “There were 762 babies born at the (Bacchus Marsh) hospital during the 2009/10 financial year – a 22 per cent more than the previous year, continuing an upward trend.”
Apparently the Bacchus Marsh birth rate doesn’t look likely to slow down either, with more young families choosing Bacchus Marsh as their home, it is only natural that more babies will follow too.
I for one welcome all the new Bacchus Marsh arrivals, but what do you think of our baby boom?
